Abschluss der Sanierungsarbeiten der „Schneider-Gruft“ am Friedhof Bad Vöslau. Das stimmungsvolle und sowohl architektonisch als auch geschichtlich interessante Grabdenkmal des Südbahnwirts Ludwig Schneider wurde durch den bekannten Architekten Johann Nepomuk Scheringer im byzantinisch-orientalischen Stil errichtet.
Das 2-flügelige Eingangstor der „Schneider-Gruft“ war zum Zeitpunkt der Sanierungsarbeiten bereits in einem so desolaten Zustand, dass dieses von Schwarzott komplett neu gefertigt wurde. Dazu wurde das alte Tor inkl. der aufwändigen Schnitzereien exakt aufgenommen und 1:1 nachgebaut – Die Metallbeschläge werden gereinigt und neu beschichtet. Fehlende Beschläge wurden dem Bestand entsprechend nachgebaut. So erstrahlt die „Schneider-Gruft“ heute im selben Glanz wie zu Ihrer Entstehung 1880.
